Chair-Lift

Like a face lift..but for a chair.

 

When we moved into our home 2 years ago, we decided EVERYTHING should be red. I'm not really sure why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

 

I'm slowly but surely de-redding everything, and this brings me to my latest little diy project - a 'dip-dyed' chair. I've seen some beautiful images of chairs with dipped legs on the bible that is pinterest so I thought I'd give it a go.



 

 

I just measured the same distance up each leg, popped on some masking tape and got the paints out!

This is where we live

I had a little 're-jig' of our living room today, hiding things, displaying others. I think it looks nice.

I can decide whether roses look better dead or alive...?

C'est Fini!!!

Leading on from my previous post - we've finished the house!

And this is what it looks like now....

My bike has become rather redundant because we live up a MASSIVE hill...but I thought the mint looked very nice in its new home.

We've gone minimal in the bedroom, and have used old fruit crates as bedside tables.

I've spent a lot of time in here!

I have to thank Pinterest for my inspiration for this one! This was the most fun part of all of our decorating, theres something satisfying about painting black after weeks of painting everything white.



Home Sweet Home

Since Febuary we have been renovating our home, we have changed every floor of the house (it's split level so thats saying something!)

We are so nearly finished, I thought Id's share a few photos of our journey.

The bathroom used to be through the kitchen, I cant get over this photo! We were still living here and cooking in the kitchen!

This is a big hole where our stairs are going.

Got to make the most of the scaffolding.

The long, arduous task of decorating, it has taken us so long!

A view like this makes it all worth while though.
